Bowsher Ford Bridge (1915)
Burr Arch construction by Eugene Britton - son of J.A. Britton. 72 feet in length, this bridge crosses Mill Creek, has an overhead clearance of 13 feet, 6 inches, and a weight limit of 2 tons.
Cox Ford Bridge (1913)
Burr Arch construction by J.A. Britton. This bridge is 176 feet in length and replaced an iron bridge that was destroyed by flood in 1912-1913. Cox Ford bridge crosses Sugar Creek. The arches of the bridge are almost 60 years older than the rest of the bridge. The arches were built by Henry Wolfe and used in a bridge near Armiesburg which was washed out in 1913. Britton recycled the timbers in the Cox Ford Bridge.
Jackson Bridge (1861)
Double Burr Arch construction by J.J. Daniels. This bridge, at 207 feet long, is the longest single-span covered bridge still in use. It crosses Sugar Creek, has an overhead clearance of 12 feet, and has a weight limit of 5 tons.
Marshall Bridge (1917)
Burr Arch construction by J.A. Britton. This bridge is 56 feet long, has an overhead clearance height of 13 feet, and a 5 ton weight limit.
Melcher Bridge (1896)
Burr Arch construction by J.J. Daniels. This bridge, which crosses Leatherwood Creek, is 83 feet in length. It is sometimes called Klondike Bridge for a nearby community of the same name. Overhead clearance height is 13 feet, and the weight limit is 6 tons.
Mill Creek Bridge (1907)
Burr Arch construction by D.M. Brown. This 92 foot long bridge crosses Mill Creek. It is sometimes called "Tow Path Bridge", has an overhead clearance of 12 feet 6 inches, and has a weight limit of 3 tons.
Rush Creek Bridge (1904)
Burr Arch construction by Wm. Hendricks. This bridge is 77 feet long, crosses Rush Creek, has an overhead clearance of 11 feet 10 inches, and has a weight limit of 4 tons.
West Union Bridge (1876)
Burr Arch construction by J.J. Daniels. This double-span bridge is 315 feet long, making it the longest bridge in Parke County. West Union Bridge crosses Sugar Creek.
Wilkens Mill Bridge (1906)
Burr Arch construction by Wm. Hendricks. Wilkens Mill bridge is 102 feet long and crosses Sugar Mill Creek. It was named for a mill that formerly stood nearby. Overhead clearance is 13 feet.
