Bring your canine friends and join us in Parke County for the Mansfield Village Dog Days of Summer slated for July 9th & 10th, 2011.
Join us either day for the Covered Bridge Dog Walk through the village. Registration is $5 and starts at 9 am at Fox's Overlook downtown. The walk begins at 10 am.
A pet contest will also be held both days. Registration is free and takes place from 9 am until 12 noon. Judging and awards will be at 2 pm on Saturday for the Cutest and Best Trick. On Sunday, the Best Dressed and Look-a-Like will be awarded at the same time. Winners will receive a photo from Hair of the Dog Photography by Dawna Clearwater plus other awards. All dogs receive a special treat. Village shoppes will be open and festival foods will be available.
Pet owners are reminded to bring their dog only if he or she will enjoy being around other dogs and people. Water stations will be available throughout the event.
