Skip the mall, shop at a holiday festival ● Two weekends of Christmas celebration
Christmas time is a special time of year, with celebrations on every corner. During this magical season, you'll find all sorts of gift-giving ideas that you won't find anywhere else, from homemade goodies to handcrafted items.
Stop in at Mansfield Village's Old Fashioned Christmas Festival. This year's 2010 festival will be held - Nov. 26th, 27th and 28th with a second weekend Dec. 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Mansfield Village celebrates the holidays with Christmas shopping, beautiful decorations, thousands of lights, a visit from Santa, a turkey dinner and other delicious food.
Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit like a blanket of fresh-fallen snow; the soft lights of the historic Mansfield Roller Mill glowing against the background of the quiet, frozen creek; the majestic presence of the covered bridge; and the multi-colored twinkling lights.
Fox's Overlook is just one of the many places in Mansfield Village where you can find special, one-of-a-kind, antique or craft items.
Other shopping destinations are Hilltop Farm General Store, for an old-fashioned gift idea; Gifts by Nature, for a handmade token or unique present for the hard-to-buy-for person on your list; and Creekside Sugar Shack (located in Hilltop Farm General Store for Christmas), for a festive package of gourmet chocolates or confections. Reserve your limited-edition Mansfield Village "Christmas Festival" basket from the Hilltop Farm collector's series in the General Store.
