Steer your course to Up the Creek Boat-ique’ and be delighted at the unique décor, great food and, best of all, an attitude from a different latitude. Started in 2000 as a small campstore and convenience store, Up the Creek has evolved into a restaurant well known for its great and varied menu.
It is owned by the Lambermont family, who started camping and fell in love with Bahia Honda State Park (latitude 24) in the lower keys in the 1980’s when their children were babies. Thus, the tropical theme you find yourself surrounded by at Up the Creek. From yard sale treasures collected from Key West to Marathon, Up the Creek is full of lobster traps, bouys, anchors, chains, a 14’ marlin, parrot cages, mermaids, and a parachute that once hung at the old Key West airport. Along with the décor, their menu includes key lime pie, key lime pie milkshakes, and a frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate. Stop in and try one. It is a great way to prevent scurvy!!
