Come enjoy a feast of homemade food like Grandma used to make, served on antique dishes with cloth napkins and ice cold drinks served from Mason jars — all while enjoying a unique atmosphere and friendly service--at the new Honeysuckle Hill Bee-stro in Brazil, Ind. You will be the guests of owners Jodi and Andy Lohrman in the Bee-stro next to their rural home by a lake. The Beestro has a working bee hive observatory and many of the dishes are flavored with honey produced right at Honeysuckle Hill farm. But don’t fret if you don’t like honey, many dishes are honey-free as well.
Everything is made-fromscratch “yummy” using Indiana home grown food when available. The Bee-stro also houses a bee supply store upstairs, blending the Lohrman’s hobbies of cooking and bee keeping. You might want to pick up an item or two at their little sales counter which includes homemade soaps, honey bee wax lip balm, lotions, unique caps and t-shirts and much more! All in all, it’s a stop that will call you back time and again. It’s a Hoosier experience you won’t want to miss! Open for Thursday and Friday lunch, Friday and Saturday dinner and Saturday breakfast.
