We've had requests for GPS mappable addresses for those planning to visit Mansfield Village during the 2011 Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. Many Mansfield locations actually display as "Rockville" addresses, although mansfield is about ten miles southeast of Rockville (as the crow flies). If your GPS won't accept "Mansfield Indiana" as a destination, try one of the following addresses. These should get you within a few blocks of the Mansfield Covered Bridge. These addresses also work within Google Maps. Click HERE to view Mansfield in Google Maps. (Continue reading for Addresses & Maps)
Chances are, not may folks stopped in the middle of a covered bridge to comment on its beauty or ingenious construction 100 years ago. They simply used it to cross a body of water.
If you attended this year's Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, please take a moment to provide your comments. What did you like most at the 2007 Festival? What would you like to see at future Covered Bridge Festivals?
The breathtaking view of the historic Mansfield Roller Mill, waterfall and covered bridge is enough to make the trip worthwhile.
The Mansfield Roller Mill is a state historic site still in operation and has been grinding with water power since the 1820?s.
Come tour our village and browse through Mansfield?s unique shops during our monthly festivals & special events. You will find crafts, local art, antiques, collectibles and food.
